Rules & Fools

Rules & Fools is a chaotic 2D coop platformer, where players can choose their own rules and build their own levels incrementally.

Each round, players can choose 1 of 3 rules to add to the game. They then have to complete all objectives within a given time limit.

The concept was created during the project week "A Different Kind of Game Jam!" offered by Science and Technology Studies (STS) at TUM. The idea is based on the Red Queen Hypothesis, because players constantly need to adapt to a changing environment, which they can also shape.
