Roboom

Imagine one day the world just ends. The aliens have finally found us and want our planet. You are a tiny robot specifically built for the purpose of eliminating those aliens. Now it is on you to upgrade your weapons, fight the evil aliens and use your extraordinary acoustic senses to orient yourself in the maze, that are the ruins of the laboratory, that you were built in. Defeat the final boss and escape to help out humanity!

Roboom is a rogue like dungeon crawler based on "The Binding of Isaac". It is set in a laboratory, with a unique sound based orientation.

It was made for the course Audio for Games at TUM. We worked on it for a month and made all the assets and music ourselves.

Controls

The game can be played both with a controller as well as mouse and keyboard.
You shoot with the arrow keys / the right stick / the ABXY buttons.
You move the player with WASD / the left stick.
